Entrepreneurs Roundtable is an international organization (est. 2007) that strives to make entrepreneurs become more successful through free monthly events for investors and entrepreneurs in New York (and bi-monthly events in Istanbul and Tokyo). In addition to their networking events, they started the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, an early stage technology investment fund and accelerator, to further support the New York entrepreneurial community.
They threw an awesome party on Wednesday night at The Alley in honor of their 50th Anniversary and Giusto from Ballaro Caffe (a Fiestah vendor) catered the event with appetizing finger food. It seemed like everyone in the New York tech scene was there. We saw a lot of the people we have met in the startup scene the past few months and got to network with new people as well. There was good food, good music, and opportunities to make invaluable connections.
Big thanks to Jason and Nsi of @alleynyc (NYC’s newest co-working space) for having such a great venue to work with and being great facilitators to the entrepreneurial spirit! If you haven’t been to The Alley, you must check it out as they have a gorgeous space and an amazing team behind it. And finally, congrats to Murat Aktihanoglu (President of ER/ERA) for all his success and his contributions to the New York tech scene. ER was the first pitch event we had ever been to here in NYC back in the winter. Between the pitches, different startups, and mentors we met that night, it was a great introduction to how great the NY tech scene is. We’ve been to a bunch ever since and wish Murat and his team continued success.
