4 Delightful Drinks To Boost Your Monday Blues!

We can’t believe it, but it’s Monday again, everyone. As we groggily get out of bed and mourn the death of our precious weekend, we’re also excited to start a brand new week!

We’re gonna need all the help we need, of course. We’ve got four crazy yummy drinks to perk up your morning, and send your Monday blues away! Did we also mention, these drinks are super easy to whip up (or buy!), and are natural energy boosters?

Kale, Apple & Lemon Juice

Had a long weekend, so you’re nursing a cold or a hangover? Green Kitchen Stories has a great recipe that doesn’t require a juice machine! Blend 5 organic apples, 1/2 lemon, an inch of peeled ginger, 2 cups of fresh kale (remove the thick stems!) with some ice. Blitz, and filter the juice with a cheese cloth. Right back at you, Monday!

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee 

It’s National Coffee Day, so of course we’re gonna give our favorite a shout out. New Yorkers are said to drink 7 times more coffee than the rest of them, and we say, why not? Coffee beans are technically seeds of a cherry-like fruit anyway, it’s like liquid fruit that instantly improves productivity!

Blueberry Lassi 

We’re obsessed with blueberry lassi, the perfect drink to beat the Monday blues! Traditionally, lassi is a blend of yogurt, water and spices. The lassi is so versatile, it can also be used to make a sweet yet healthy drink!

Combine fresh blueberries (for high antioxidant content), with some organic yogurt, honey, cinnamon powder and coconut milk. You can add 1/2 teaspoon sea salt before blending. Garnish with 2 cinnamon sticks. Bye bye, yucky Monday vibes! Get the full recipe here.

Green Tea With Honey 

When all else fails, and you’re running late, get a green tea bag out of your cupboard and drizzle some honey in. Rich in antioxidants, this soothing cup of tea can treat a cold, prevent cancer and help with weight loss. Boom, or what?
