We’re under two weeks away from Thankgiving weekend and we understand, the stress level is real. Prep for Thanksgiving dinners can be exhausting and takes away all the joy from the holidays, so we’ve come up a quick list of ways so that you can enjoy an awesome, and most importantly, stress-free Thanksgiving!

The Turkey

How to prepare the star of Thanksgiving dinner? You’ll have to think about the stuffing, the seasoning, is it too dry, is it going to fit your oven, who is going to carve this year? We know, this bird can really stress us out! This is why you should throw out all the plans to cook this year, and go with with a gorgeous smoked turkey from Dickson’s Farmstand!

This year, they’ve partnered up with iconic Southern-inspired restaurant, Blue Smoke, so you know the turkey will be exquisite! Just think of fresh turkey dry-brined with a special rub for 24 hours, before its smoked over apple and cherry woods. All you need to do is reheat the bird before dinner. We’re salivating already!

The Side Dish: Garlic Mashed Potatoes

First off, it’s a Julia Child recipe so you know this will be epic. Secondly, it’s thirty cloves of garlic in this creamy side dish. Thirdly, it’s really quite easy to make and to store a day before Thanksgiving dinner. Just make sure you don’t hog it all to yourself! Full recipe here.

The Other Side Dish: Roasted Jalapeno Cornbread

Cornbread may be the heart of a Southern Thanksgiving spread, but it’s so good it should be on every table. Put your trust in Jack’s Chedbread, who is here to revive this gorgeous classic! Make everyone happy with generous squares of Jack’s Roasted Jalapeño Chedbread, with flame roasted jalapenos for that deep, smoky flavor. Problem solved!

The Salad: Kale Salad with Roasted Pumpkin, Cranberries and Goat Cheese

For a light contrast to the heavy meat, add color to the table with a gorgeous, seasonal salad! We promise you, Heather Christo’s recipe is so easy to put together and in under 10 minutes. Shred curly kale as the base, and top with buttery roasted sugar pumpkin, creamy goat cheese, sour cranberries and sweet candied pecans. Top off with a ridiculously yummy shallot vinaigrette! The vegetarians will be pleased.
