Spring is here, and whether it’s cool or not outside, it’s time to head out and see some awesome things New York has to offer! We’ve got a few exhibits you absolutely need to catch, and a show that will color your mid-week, after the cut:

Björk at MoMA

This MoMA retrospective of Björk’s work of over 20 years, sees a chronology of all her daring and innovative projects in one space. Reviews of the exhibition are divisive, so check it out and decide for yourself! Full information here. You have until June 7 to catch this exclusive exhibition!

Not familiar with Björk’s work? Let a dedicated fan tell you and broaden your understanding of the exhibition! ‘Björk Explained by a Fan’ will take place just outside the gallery, on April 10, Friday. Space is limited and is first-come, first-served.

Matthew Weiner’s Mad Men at the Museum of the Moving Image

Here at Fiestah, we’re totally mad for Mad Men! This is why we’re so stoked for this exhibition, which will run until June 14. This major exhibition explores the incredible process behind Mad Men, featuring large-scale sets of Don Draper’s office and kitchen from the Draper’s Ossining home. There are also iconic costumes, props, advertising art and personal notes as well as research material from series creator Matthew Weiner on display! It’s an awesome insight into the remarkable details that go into producing the show, and it’s a great way to get ideas for your next Mad Men-inspired party! Full information here.

The Sherry Vine Show  at Industry Bar

Don’t think there’s an art to drag and performing in drag? Let Sherry Vine teach you! A fixture in NYC drag circuit, Sherry Vine is also a brilliant comedian! Let her entertain you with song parodies, her crazy viral videos and that tongue-burning with this Wednesday at Hell’s Kitchen. How’s that for some mid-week fun? More information here.
