Bubble Battle NYC 2015
Bring out the bubble guns, bubble wands, bubble solution, bubble generators… anything that can successfully make an orb out of soap! French dating app Happn has taken inspiration from Dr. Seuss’s classic, The Butter Battle, and transformed the idea into a party of a massive crowd running around in a giant bubble battle, and meeting new people at Union Square. This year’s theme is Party Boat, so they’re gonna need shark costumes, neon bathing suits.. and anything ridiculous, really. Full info here.
The Hudson River Park Games
It’s the inaugural Games at the Hudson River Park, an initiative to get fit and have fun this summer! This June 13, the Park’s piers will transform into an Olympic-style day of sports and activities, such as an outdoor boot camp, Zumba classes and even a yoga course. They’ve got a long list of activities for you to join in, so accept the challenge in the spirit of the Games! Full info here.
Jazz Age Lawn Party
Want a rare chance to travel back to the Prohibition era? Head on down to Governors Island for the Jazz Age Lawn Party! The event is crafted and nurtured by Michael Arenella (check out his gorgeous orchestra!), who since made this event one of the most memorable and family-friendly event in town! Experience the glory years of the Jazz Age with dance lessons, vintage portraits, 1920s car exhibition, Charleston dance contest and even carnival games for junior gents and flapperettes! Full information here.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
