It’s deliciously hot outside, but we’re embracing everything about this summer heat! If you haven’t already, start planning for an awesome summer gathering to bring friends, family and even colleagues together. Planning a networking session? Head outdoors!
Give thanks to the sunny weather, by serving fresh, summer bites! It’s all about serving foods that are bright and light, but still pack a punch. Come on in, and be inspired:
If you think boiling your lobster is the only way to go, you’re wrong! The flavor and texture from grilling your fresh lobster is the best way to enjoy it, as the slight char is gorgeous! It gives the lobster a richer, more concentrated flavor.
Quick Tip: Chill lobsters in the freezer for 15 minutes for preparing, before cutting it in half to grill. Don’t forget to rub sides with oil and be generous with the salt and pepper. Full recipe here!
Queen Cobra Thai’s Pineapple Fried Rice
The folks at Queen Cobra Thai are all about bringing the authentic Thai experience to fulfill the city’s tastebuds! Our awesome vendors make the food they love to eat – strong flavor, fresh and full with spices. For a touch of summer freshness, they’ve got Pineapple Fried Rice. This signature Thai dish is sweet and spicy, with healthy servings of cilantro, peanuts mixed with rice, and pineapple, of course! So simply, and so good.
There’s nothing fresher than raw fish! It’s not sushi we’re talking about, but ceviche. Fresh raw fish (white fish such as flounder, sea bass or amberjack) is cured in citrus juices and spiced with chili peppers. Don’t forget the chopped onions, fine sea salt and lime zest!
Quick Tip: Make sure to prepare this dish fresh, to minimize the risk of food poisoning. Serve ceviche with cooked corn, lettuce or sweet potatoes for a balance of flavor. Full recipe here.
