New Year’s Mania: Hangover Remedies You’re Gonna Need

When do we ever learn? The older we get, the more real the hangover will be the next day. We’ve got sure-fire ways for you to get the most out of your week back to work, with simple steps:

Drink More Water
There’s no way to escape it, water should be the number one priority. Just make sure you load up!

Ginger or Peppermint Tea
For something soothing, go back to herbal tea. Studies have shown that ginger tea can reduce nausea and motion sickness.

The Squeeze: Cold Pressed Juices

After all the indulging, it may be time for a detox! Look no further than The Squeeze, with their selection of cold pressed juice cocktails. Restore your body to its maximum health potential, and enhance your life, while you’re still in the mood for New Year and New You. Check out ‘Get Your Juices Flowing’, with use of turmeric, which has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that can relieve joint pain. We’ll trust the Chinese and Indian systems of medicine!

Eat: Bananas, Kiwis and Spinach
Why do you need to consume more of these bright fruits? All of these fruits are loaded with potassium, which has a crucial electrolyte that depletes due to alcohol’s diuretic effect. Eat up!

You may think you need to whip up a Bloody Mary for your head, but skip it and go with tomato juice instead. Tomatoes contain lycopene, an antioxidant that can help reduce inflammation in your body.

Chicken Noodle Soup
While many can argue about the scientific evidence of comfort food, we can’t deny that a cup of noodles can restock sodium and water levels in the body.

What are some of your hangover cures?
