2016 Drink Trends We Dig

It’s almost the end of the month, but no matter. We’re still knee deep in experimenting some of the year’s coming trends! Check out our pick, for this year’s drink trends:

It’s all about mixing it up (literally!). Want a cool mimosa to relax into the weekend? Try Beermosa, a mimosa… but made with beer. Make with Bavarian wheat beer, and throw in some mint leaves on top of orange juice. It will make for a good time, and a great alternative to the drinks your guests are used to! Recipe here.

Cold Brew 
It’s not just any type of iced coffee, folks. Cold brew coffee is all about its distinct process which allows you to have a much more concentrated brew. Even though it’s been around since 2010, it’s been picking up speed. What’s great about cold brew? Beyond its stronger taste, it’s higher in antioxidants and is less acidic than your average cup of coffee. The debate is settled: Any type of coffee is good for your health!

Lots of tea houses have popped up in the past few months, and with good reason. From tea lattes, to matcha and chai tea, it’s an endless list of different teas to check out! Kombucha tea is the one to look out for this year. Kombucha just basically means any variety of fermented, lightly sweetened black or green tea drinks. Experiment with this recipe!
