Happy National Margarita Day!

It’s one of the most ordered cocktails in the country, and we say, why not? Of course we need a day to celebrate margaritas! And yes, of course it just happened to fall on a Monday. It’s after work, and it might be cold wherever you are, but let’s make it hot hot hot with some of the best recipes:

(Really Spicy) Margaritas
Want something really caliente? This margarita recipe has the ultimate bite, thanks to its salt, paprika and lime powder, dusted on the rim of the glass! The splash of Grand Marnier will ease the spice level, balancing the punch too. How about serrano pepper slices in your drink while you’re at it?

Vanilla Pear Margaritas

Want something a little easier on the tongue, and tastebuds? This vanilla pear margarita recipe is so pretty! Throw in some pear juice, fresh vanilla bean, honey, a bit of cinnamon on top of tequila and lemon juice… And you’re set! So perfect for cold weather too.

The World’s Most Expensive Margarita, Anyone?

If you happen to have $1,200 to spare, head on down to The London Bar at The London NYC hotel in Midtown Manhattan for the “Billionaire Margarita”. Why is it so expensive? Patrón en Lalique: Serie 1, a blend of Patrón’s oldest and rarest tequilas, bottled in Lalique crystal. Catch one of the 500 bottles, while you can! (And if, your bank account so graciously allows)

Drink up, folks!
